Word to Alias

Happy Alias day everyone. Get out the balloons, cake, and ice cream. It is time to celebrate.

By the way, I updated Under My Thumb and Crush on Friday.

Word to Bob

Ahhhhhhhhh. I’m back. I’m alive. And I’m actually going to post about something. I’m pretty sure that it will be a good post, because I took notes! Tonight was the premiere of the new Bachelor, and any who know me know that I am a huge Bachelor fan, and watch religiously. Well, maybe not religiously, but you catch my drift. So I took some notes during the 2 hour (!) premiere, and hope to give you the best post that I possibly can.

Okay. So Bob. Is. Adorable. Yes folks, Bob is adorable. Though I am tried now, I am very glad that the premiere was 2 hours long, because the premiere for the last season with Andrew ended before the girls even got out of the limo. Big disappointment. So this time they didn’t have to sit in the limos for a week, and they found out who was going home in the first episode. Bravo, ABC, bravo. Again, I’m rooting for the Tennessee girls. Brooke, who did get a rose, is a 6th grade teacher from Bartlett, TN. As the cool people say, Rehpreessenttteh.

As with most seasons, they have upped the quality of girls. They even included a set of twins, who rightfully did not get roses as they wore matching outfits everywhere. Girls, aren’t we a little old for that? More info from my notes: Kelly Jo got the first kiss. Lee-Ann sent Bob a “fan e-mail.” Estella tripped. Karin had the Gabrielle Union-esque look to her. Very pretty. Bob’s mom picked Karin, Kristi, and Lee-Ann as her top three.

Stuff I loved about the actual show… the “bitter girl” montage after the last rose has been handed out. This never fails to crack me up. Those produces just love to put the camera on the girls who are the most disappointed, and are probably about to cry. And the drama. Good Lord, the drama. Heather- WHAT-ever. The crying was unnecessary. But I think my favorite part of tonight’s episode was the Pepsi Vanilla product placement. All those girls probably don’t drink it. I bet the producers just put Pepsi Vanilla labels over Vanilla Coke cans. Or better yet, Cherry Coke cans.

My pick? Estella. I’m not sure she’ll be the last girl, but she’s definetely IN. That’s all for this week. My apologies for those of you who despise reality TV and the Bachelor. Head on over to Take the Deviled Eggs for my review of the Gilmore Girls season premiere.

Where’s Emma? Well, I’m not sure. I’ll go look for her…
