Word to Celebrity Poker Showdown

Celebrity Poker Showdown is my crack.

Seriously, I love this show. It’s the best show ever. I’m very anxious to see the Macaulay Culkin and Neil Patrick Harris episodes this season. And Michael Vartan wasn’t completely skeezy this past episode.

Alright, well I’m off to St. Louis for a band competition. Check out my new wallpapers or make a sandwich… your choice.

Word to the Constitution

Dear Senator Edwards,

I am sorry to hear that you have not fully read the Constitution or it’s amendments. This is sad indeed. Let me refer you to Article IV Section 1, which contains the Full Faith and Credit clause. You see Johnny Edwards, states do have to recognize marriages from other states, and they have been for the past 200 years. Please stop claiming that states do not have to do this when they most certainly do. Maybe now you will understand why gay marriage is such a big issue- it is unconstitutional for a state to not recognize a marriage from the other states. Therefore states that do not recognize gay marriages from other states, at the moment, are breaking the law.

I hope you will get a chance to read through the Constitutional more thoroughly before your next television appearance, at which I will most certainly regurgitate if you rewrite the Constitution on-air like that again.

Your friend,
Emma

Word to Christmas

Hey, it’s October 5. What better subject to discuss than CHRISTMAS! I’d apologize, but all this cool weather just gets me giddy about CHRISTMAS.

Things I love about CHRISTMAS:
1. The Carpenter’s Christmas Portrait
2. Harry Conick JR’s When My Heart Finds Christmas
3. Christmas mass
4. Peppermint bark
5. Gingerbread houses (note to Maura: we really must do this old school graham cracker style this year)
6. Sugar cookies
7. Decorating the sugar cookies
8. Christmas movies such as Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, A Muppet’s Christmas Carol, Elf (soon to be a classic), Miracle on 34th Street, etc, etc.
9. Scarves
10. Mittens
11. My peacoat
12. Christmas lights
13. Driving around with Maura as she preaches to me about the proper use of Christmas lights, what is tacky, and what is classy

14. Christmas parades
15. Candy canes
16. Lil’ chocolate Santas
17. Foilage decorations

Alright, I think I’m done. Back to your regularly scheduled October.

Word to busy-ness

I’m sorry, dear viewers.

I have not been your loyal daily blogger as I should have been.

But seriously, I’m on the bowling team, in the marching band, and on National Honors Society. I tutor when I’m not a practice. I work at the Williamson Democratic Party Headquarters when I’m not sleeping. I go to the gym every night because I *will* look hot this year at prom, no question about it. AND I work at Cozymel’s on Sundays. In between these rigorous activities I have to squeeze showering, sleeping, eating, and homework. These are all pretty lame excuses.

I will try better. At least for Rachel. But for now, I’m just very sorry.

But please, enjoy this Joaquin goodness on your way out.
