Word to 24


I just completed my great 24 DVD watch of 2005 on Monday. 24 quite possibly may be the best show ever. Consequently, I have some reflections about the show. So read them… or else.

1. Chase Edmunds is hot. I think he may even be to hot for Kim with her season 3 hair. And I found out that he plays hockey in real life. A++

2. I heart George Mason. Oh, and in season 2 when he… oops. I won’t ruin it for you who haven’t seen it. But George Mason is now my favorite character after Tony.

3. Jack certainly has a type. Skinny, waif, bony facial structure. These all describe Teri, Nina, Kate, and Audrey. Claudia doesn’t really fit in here, but I don’t think their relationship was believable enough in the first place.

4. I really don’t like Nina. I don’t even love to hate her. After season 1, I just wanted her off the screen. She’s not good enough for Xander Berkeley.

5. Everytime Palmer is on the screen, I think about car insurance. That’s AllState’s stand.

6. Kim’s hair in season 3 is annoying. So did the producers get together and say “Hey, I think our ratings are tooooo good. Let’s make Kim unbearable to look at.” Smart one.

7. Proto Zoa? WTF? I was completely shocked to see the guy who played Proto Zoa in the Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century movies starring in season 2. Glad they picked some *quality* actors.

8. Tony + Michelle = LOVE. Except for in season 4. ‘Tis sad. But next week should bring some good Tony\Michelle stuff.

9. That Jack Bauer plays by his own rules. Best Week Ever told me to say this to make people think I watch 24. But it’s really true. I’ve created a drinking game: whenever Jack plays by his own rules… so you’re basically drinking the entire time.

10. I loooooved the pre-season 4 stuff on season 3 DVD’s. Jack saying “I can get my own ef’in job, Erin” was killer.

I am actually a little sad now that I don’t have anymore 24 to watch except for the current season. I have little in my life to look forward to now. *sniffle*

    sherry palmer is my favorite character. she’s such a b-word. and yeah, i think the brilliance of the show is def. evident in the fact that we go from hating mason to basically thinking he’s jesus. GREAT stuff.

    Ooh! 24 makes me so happy. I’ve been slacking with this season though, thanks to so much freaking homework. However, my roommate tapes it and I am catching up on what I’ve missed this weekend! *hugs*

    (9) Pffft. Don’t all the lead characters do that? I mean, look at Sydney in Alias.

    Argh. I suck! I’ve never seen “24″ even though everyone (including the Pope) keeps telling me how awesome it is. I just couldn’t bring myself to watch the horribly translated German version. Will have to get it on DVD sometime soon.

    Emma! I’m so happy you watch “24″ now! I just got into this year too. And Alias IS a dumbed down version of the show…so sad cause it used ot be so good!
