Am I socially challenged? I ask myself this question a lot. Most of my concerns about my own personal social behavior come from my unhealthy obsession with TV. This week’s obsession: Veronica Mars.

I’ve caught up on the entire series these past few weeks, forgoing sleep in the process. This sounds horrible to me. However, there are worse things I could be doing… and then I had another thought…

TV has sort of become my boyfriend. Much in the same way the Maura’s iPod is her’s. TV is mine.

TV and I had love at first sight. TV and I get along great. But sometimes TV and I have struggles… “lover’s quarrels” if you will. Like on Monday nights when TV decides he’s going to air Everwood, The Bachelor, and 24 all in the same time slot. But TV always makes it up to me on Tuesdays when he gives me an awesome episode of Veronica Mars.

But seriously TV, where is the love on Wednesdays and Thursdays? I don’t remember the last time I watched first-air TV on those nights. Alias? … is a big fat joke this season. Honestly, it’s not even the same show anymore. The OC? Whatever. Just keep recycling cliche high school party storylines and I’ll keep changing the channel.


But it’s nice that TV and I can have that time apart from each other. It gives me time to hook up with my array of secret clandestine lovers. One of them is named “DVD Player” and the other is “Sleep”.

Speaking of which, it time for my rendezvous with Sleep right about now.

I have a new TV boyfriend everyone. Step aside, Bright Abbott, it’s all about Logan Echolls of Veronica Mars.

Logan is the PERFECT!boyfriend. He’s rich. He’s hot. He’s rich. He’s hot. And also, he’s rich. Yes, I am that shallow. I don’t know if I would like him half as much if it wasn’t for his good looks. OR that necklace he wears all the time. Yummy.

Logan Echolls is 10 x a better boyfriend than Logan Huntzberger on Gilmore Girls. Huntzberger can’t be counted on. Huntzberger is scum. Huntzberger is never around when you want him to be.


Echolls is always there for you. He comes and rescues you from the still!creepy Jonathan Taylor Thomas. And then you share a hot kiss afterwards! And then you think about how much money he has, and he just gets hotter.

Logan also stuck around his girlfriend when she got a pink Vespa scooter. Gross. This shows how unshallow he is. Awwwwwwwe!

Ahhhhhhhh. I heart my new TV boyfriend. Say goodbye to previous TV boyfriends: Bright Abbott, Pacey Witter, Logan Huntzberger, Xander Harris, Danny Taylor, and Lex Luthor. None can compare with the Echolls.

Ummm, this is completely unrelated to my profession of lurve to my TV boyfriend Logan, but I did update Under My Thumb with some new wallpapers.

A list of things. I would call it a smorgasboard just like Rachel, but that would be copying.


1. Prom! I went to Prom this weekend. It was fun. I think we had the worst DJ in the history of ever, though.



2. Veronica Mars! I heart this show. I wish it was Tuesday sooooooo bad right now. And Logan? Hottttttttttttt.

3. Comment spam! I have a lot of comment spam. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I got comment spam on the last post before I got actual comments.

4. Fever Pitch! I loved this movie. I can forgive Jimmy Fallon for Taxi now… sortof.

5. Everwood! … is back tonight. Madison, Ephram JR, and all. But how can I watch it when it’s opposite 24 and The Bachelor?

6. Alias! Haven’t watched for two months now! I feel so liberated!

7. Too many fandoms! I’ve acquired wayyy too many fandoms over the past few weeks: Veronica Mars, House, Grey’s Anatomy, Smallville (via DVD, thanks Bobby). It’s good I’m not watching Alias anymore, I haven’t the time!

8. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! This was playing the other morning at the gym. There’s nothing like working out to Splinter saying “Rafaeeeeeel, coomee sitt with meee.”



9. Arrested Development! If loving George Michael\Maeby is wrong, I don’t want to be right. And GOB and Franklin are my new TV boyfriends. Everything I do, I do it for you… If this does not get renewed, I might just kill myself.



10. Beehive! There was a large conglomerate of bees on a tree outside my house this weekend. They came on Saturday, then left on Sunday afternoon.
