My friends Zach, Tom, and I were just sitting in chemisty class today, talking about music. Then all of a sudden…

Zach: I’m excited for tomorrow. There’s a new Madonna album out.

Me: ….

Zach: And I think I’m going to buy the Mariah Carey CD because I don’t have it yet.

Me: Oh yeah, the platinum edition?

Zach: Yeah, it’s totally worth it for that one song she has out.

Me: (vaguely remembers the title of the song that Wentworth Miller did the video for) … you mean “We Belong Together”?

Zach: No, “Don’t Forget About Us.”

Me: …??


Zach: If you liked “We Belong Together”, you’ll probably like “Don’t Forget About Us.”
Me: (in a whisper to Tom) is Zach gay?

Tom: I don’t know.

Zach: What? I’m not gay. I listen to Michael Jackson.

Me: ……. (in a whisper to Tom) is Zach gay?

Zach: It’s all about “Billie Jean.”

Me: ……. (in a whisper to Tom) NO REALLY, is Zach gay?

Oh, and happy birthday to my brother Allen who is definitely not gay. And belated happy birthday to mi hermana Maura.

Exams are upsetting me.

But podcasts by Barack Obama make me happy.
