The Nightmare Before Christmas

Hey look everyone, it’s Halloween.  You know what’s the best part of Halloween?  The day after.  Yeah, that’s right.  Living it up on November 1st.  November 1st is the glorious day where you get to run to Target and buy lots and lots of candy for half off.  Yeah, I love candy and I have some food issues, but at least I can admit it.

November 1st is also the day where it’s only 3/4ths as socially unacceptable to be listening to Christmas music as it was the day before.  1/4th more socially acceptable… I’ll take that!  Bring on The Carpenter’s Christmas Portrait!

Despite my desire for Halloween to be over, I hope you all have a great one.  Don’t dress too slutty!

Comfortable seating

Like OMG hair curling!I was wasting some time on the internet just now trying to come up with a topic to post on when I came across this picture of my sister Audra and her friend Courtney. There are quite a few things of note in this picture, not the least of all is the rockin’ sweatshirt that Audra is wearing. But the sweatshirt is not my concern right now.

What is my concern? The suede La-Z-Boy recliner in which Audra is sitting. I am so jealous, OH SO JEALOUS. Not that I have any kind of money to just drop on a brand name recliner, or any recliner for that matter, but much to my chagrin I seem to be doomed to sit in university housing for the rest of the semester and the semester after that. The provided couch, if you can even call it that, seats one comfortably… but you have to lie down. Confusing, I know.

I really want to look into some alternative seating options, but at the end of the day do I really need to spend more time worrying about how I am going to physically relax while I watch television then I do worrying about classes or studying? Oh school, keeping me from the things that truly matter.

Nevermind me

Say “crack.” CRACK!
Say “crack” again. CRACK!

The above sums up my Monday evening.

I’m meeting with my advisor this week to discuss the possibility of graduating early. I know I’ve said this before, but I’m ready to move on from the college phase of my life.

Which house will they choose?

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again.  There’s nothing like a good episode of House Hunters.  Maybe I should just drop out of school and get my real estate license.  Alright, so the parents would probably not approve of that but that doesn’t mean it can’t be a perfectly decent backup plan pending my success in college.

Forgetful, Regretful

Over the past 2 days, I can only think of 1 thing that I did right.

I guess that’s better than no things right?
